Polymer Injection Molding Process Flow

The process flow of polymer injection molding mainly includes the following steps:

2. Raw material preparation: Prepare polymer particles, additives, and other raw materials, and mix them together to make a uniform mixture.

3. Heating and melting: Add the mixture to the hopper of the injection molding machine, and then turn it into a liquid state through heating and melting. At this time, the temperature of the polymer is usually around 200 ℃.

4. Injection molding: Liquid polymer is injected into the mold through a nozzle and rapidly cooled under high pressure until the molding is completely solidified, thus obtaining the desired shape of the polymer product.

5. Removing finished products: With the help of a robotic arm or other equipment on an injection molding machine, the formed polymer products are taken out of the mold and placed on a conveyor belt or other container.

6. Post processing: Finally, the finished product is subjected to post-processing operations such as cleaning, trimming, and quality inspection to ensure that the product meets quality standards.
